Speaker 1:

Welcome to Hatching Creativity. This isn't just another behavioral health podcast. This is the place where thought leaders converge to talk about real life challenges, breakthroughs and pivotal aha moments. Hey everybody, thanks for tuning into Hatching Creativity. I wanted to tell you a little bit about me and the channel and the whole purpose for creating this. So about a year ago, I started doing these weekly videos where I would talk about something I was grateful for, something I was excited about, and then that evolved into breaking down a quote or a thought for the week, and the feedback I got from that was so encouraging that it made me want to do more and I thought about it and you know, ever since I was a kid, I've been into personal growth and trying to improve whatever it was that I was into at that time, and those things changed over time. One thing that was really a common thread, which was a passion for development and growth. I think back to being a kid and watching my dad doing public speaking events and listening to motivational speakers and motivational tapes from speakers like Tony Robbins and Brian Tracy, and all of these things developed a passion inside of me to grow. They also developed a passion inside me to try new things and one of the things that I've learned when it comes to trying new things is somebody else has tried these things before and it's worked for them or it hasn't worked for them, and I'm always curious at what does and what doesn't work and what hasn't worked for other people.

Speaker 1:

And the plan with the Hatching Creativity Show is going to be a combination of a couple things. We're going to have guests on who have seen and done a lot of different things in the behavioral health care space or in other areas of their lives, and they're going to talk about the challenges that they've faced and some of the creative things that they've done to overcome those challenges. They're also going to talk about maybe some of the common pitfalls that other people have fallen into, that they've experienced, and try to help you to avoid those common mistakes yourself. The other part of the podcast is going to be some solo recordings with me and I'm going to be talking about different things that I'm doing in my life to try to improve and grow. So I'm going to be sharing some of my own personal experiences as well as my guests and their personal experiences.

Speaker 1:

But at the end of the day, the whole purpose is to be sharing stories of success, innovation and growth so that you can use these in your own world and do the best that you can to improve and get the most out of your life. If you like what you hear, please leave a review, share and tell all your friends about hatching creativity. I look forward to seeing you the next time. Thanks for tuning in to Hatching Creativity.
